Premium Australian-engineered spring and shock packages designed specifically for JB74 geometry, providing superior highway stability and off-road articulation.
Heavy-duty nitrogen gas shock absorber packages built to handle rough terrain without sagging.
Heavy-duty front and rear panhard rods to re-center your axles perfectly after raising the vehicle height, eliminating crab-walking and uneven tracking.
We drop your front radius arms to press out original rubber bushes on our hydraulic workshop press, installing offset polyurethane bushes to restore factory steering feel and stop highway wandering.
Essential long-travel braided stainless lines that eliminate line tension under full suspension droop while giving you a sharper, firmer brake pedal feel over soft OEM rubber hoses.
Essential drop brackets that prevent the front propshaft from binding or grinding against the factory chassis crossmember under full suspension articulation.
Radius arms dropped & hydraulic pressed
We don’t take lazy shortcuts. Your front radius arms are completely removed so factory bushes can be properly pressed out and replaced with castor correction offset bushes, restoring factory steering geometry and self-centering.
Extended braided lines & overnight bleed
Lifting a 4×4 stretches stock rubber brake lines to dangerous limits during off-road articulation. We fit extended stainless braided lines for safety and superior pedal feel, letting the system settle for an overnight bleed before road testing.
Thorough testing & local stays
Because we refuse to rush press work, brake bleeding, and final road testing, we prefer keeping your vehicle across two days. Enjoy an overnight stay in historic Halifax—explore The Piece Hall and Shibden Hall while we finish your build properly.
Do I need all the extras?
No, your Jimny will physically drive without them. However, lifting changes axle tilt, causing light, vague steering and highway wandering. Pressing in castor bushes restores factory steering geometry, bringing back proper self-centering and confident road feedback.
You can retain factory rubber hoses on light road setups, but extended braided lines are the professional choice. They prevent dangerous line tension under full suspension articulation off-road, eliminate soft pedal feel, and give your fresh suspension a clean, upgraded look.
Strictly speaking, no—but on lifted models, the front propshaft will likely strike the original factory brace under droop. While some installers unbolt and toss the factory crossmember out completely, fitting a high-clearance brace preserves vital chassis rigidity without propshaft contact.
Not for minor lifts, but as the chassis rises, fixed factory rods pull both front and rear axles slightly off-center. Adjustable panhard rods let us center your track perfectly, ensuring even tyre wear and straight tracking at speed.
The OME kit has a relocation bracket for the rear panhard rod, but the adjustable ones look so much nicer!
Quite the opposite when paired with correct spring rates. Premium kits (like Old Man Emu or Ironman) improve control over harsh bumps compared to soft, under-damped factory shocks, giving you a far more composed ride on and off-road.
